Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms

Stay at home if you or someone in your household have Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms which are either:

• a high temperature (above 37.8 degrees)
• a new continuous cough

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
You can complete a self certificate for absence so you do not need to contact us for a doctors medical certificate (or ‘sick note’)

Your named GP

The practice is required by the Government under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients a named accountable GP.

Individual patients will be informed of their named accountable GP at the first appropriate interaction with the practice, but please feel free to ask the receptionists when you are next in the surgery.

Our named accountable GP’s at the Practice are: Dr S Hadley, Dr S Ozturk, Dr I Raza and Dr R Rothnie.

Having a named accountable GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice.

Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor. All your records are available to every doctor within the surgery.
